about

Taken from the first date in a run of 4 UK shows in November 1994, which short though it was qualifies as the first ever Porcupine Tree tour. Almost one year on from their first ever live performance the band is beginning to sound confident, although this is still only show number 7 and the audience is a modest 60 people.

For this tour Porcupine Tree's set is almost entirely instrumental, with 2 tracks from the forthcoming album The Sky Moves Sideways newly added to the repertoire.

This restored desk recording includes 5 tracks (Up the Downstair and Always Never were also in the set but for some reason not recorded). As with most desk tapes the instrument balance is uneven - what was coming from the stage (the bass and guitar amplifiers especially) was not so present in the front of house mix.

Resolution 48k/24bit.
